DESCRIPTION:L’opera abbraccia gli eventi accaduti tra il 1333 e il 1350 e costituisce un interessante esempio di cronaca medievale ad opera di un letterato laico. Prende spunto da uno dei gialli più avvincenti della storia medievale del mezzogiorno d’Italia\, ossia l’assassinio del principe Andrea d’Ungheria avvenuto nel 1354 \, precipitato a notte fonda da un balcone di un convento di Aversa.L’edizione presentata nella prestigiosa sede della fondazione Pomarici Santomasi \, rilegge criticamente il testo dell’unico autografo esistente\, offrendo anche un’attenta traduzione italiana e ricche note di commento.
